Today was the inagural function of the 65 th batch B. Ed batch of MTTC and the first general parents meeting of the year. Pro. Dr Prasad sir, former V C and director of SERT was our chief guest.
As usual the day started with prayer.Then our principal Benedict sir's class. The topic was 'Skill Based Instructional Design: An Introduction'. A teacher without experience is like a fish out of water.. he repeated more than twice. We discussed about Micro teaching, Link teaching and Macro teaching....its features and differences. A skill is the integrated form of sub-skills. Everything based upon techniques- great techniques!!! He also mentioned about ' Tabula Rasa ' means clean slate. Today, Sir's class was really interesting. Next was Jibi teacher's class. We discussed the remaining pivots of learning: school related variable, socio-economic status and family background. In between she shared the story about Charlie Chaplin's mother Hannah Chaplin....π₯π₯π₯ Then was Maya teachers class. She taught us about Pragmatism.
